We have had another fantastic week! We worked hard finding out and researching about our favourite rainforest animal. We used this work to make our own posters which we are very proud of! In maths, we have been working with money - recognising and counting coins and notes.
We have all been working hard to improve our skipping skills (even the adults!) and we are really proud of how well we are doing. We got a long skipping rope out this week which has been great fun for all of us - every day we can see big improvements! We have also done some yoga, throwing and catching and tennis racket skills.
We have also been very creative in our independent session with story writing, sewing, colouring, Lego building and role play. On Friday, we read the book 'Bedtime for Monsters' and watched the author and illustrator Ed Vere draw 'Monster' and we all had a go too! Thanks for all the hard work year 1 .
