As-tu un animal ?
This half term, Red Class have been learning to answer the question as-tu un animal ? (Do you have a pet?)
After recapping how to say our name, where we live and how old we are, we learnt to say I have or I do not have and the words for 8 different pets. In this unit, we also learnt to say what our pets are called. For example: J'ai un chien qui s'appelle Fido (I have a dog named Fido).
We then recapped some conjunctions such as 'mais' or 'et' ('but' and 'and').
At the end of the unit, the children were able to write some sentences about themselves and their pets. They all did very well. You can see some examples above.
